Just a geography learner who wants to share…

Knowledge of location is one of the natural intelligences of humans. Coupled with curiosity about natural and human phenomena that exist in it, knowledge has encouraged the development of geography. In geography, maps are one of the important tools used by geographers to do their work, such as in describing, analyzing, and communicating phenomena on earth (space), as an attempt to solve problems in life.

The development of information and communication technology, especially computers and the internet today, has contributed to developing maps to become more than just a tool for geographers’ work and analysis. Now maps have become a necessity and tool for anyone, in any field related to location. The birth of GIS, Remote Sesning, and now location intelligence have also strengthened this.

Lintas Bumi is a personal blog about GIS, Remote Sensing, Maps, and Spatial and Regioning issues. Previously, the blog’s address was at Lintasbumi.blogspot.com, the old site was still active as a posting shortcut to this site. Lintas Bumi is part of LojiGIS (lojigis.com).
