How to Install and Download ArcGIS 10.6.1

Curious? Please click the link at the bottom to download the master ArcGIS 10.6 (old version) or 10.6.1. (latest version) in .rar file format (only for Windows (7, 8, 10) 32 & 64 bit OS.

Here is how to install ArcGIS 10.6/10.6.1;

First install the desktop, skip / cancel the administrator settings window at the end of the install.
Copy the patch desktop (afcore.dll) desktop in the folder C:/Program Files (x86)/ArcGIS/Desktop10.6/bin (depending on version), replace the previous file.
Run ArcMap.

The following steps are optional, if with the 3 stages above ArcMap is already running then it is not needed;

Third, install the license manager, at the end of the install the license manager window will appear, click the start/stop tab and click stop on the right, minimize the window.
Copy the patch license (ArcGIS.exe and Service.txt) in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\License10.6\bin folder (depending on the version), replace the previous file. Attention !!!, sometimes the antivirus will automatically block / delete this ArcGIS.exe file, for that before copying / pasting turn off your anti virus temporarily, after this process is complete then turn on the anti virus again.
The license manager window appears again, on the start/stop tab click start again, then close.
Then open ArcGIS Administrator, replace not_set below with localhost and click change (this is only optional, sometimes it doesn’t need to be done), finally click close.
Run ArcMap.
